Our Solution

HPM-2D

A sensor system mounted on the measurement vehicle that automatically detects and records overhead line position in real time.

📡
LIDAR for Overhead Line Detection
High-precision LiDAR sensor scans the overhead line geometry and determines exact lateral offset from track centerline.
📶
Radar for Rail Detection
Radar technology detects top-of-rail distance, enabling accurate calculation of cable height above the rail.
🗺️
GPS-Based Catenary Identification
Loaded with a predefined catenary list, the system automatically identifies each mast location and assigns measurements accordingly.
☁️
Cloud Back Office
All measurement data syncs to the HPM cloud platform. Manage tracks, assets, and measurement runs from any browser — searchable, sortable, and auditable.

Workflow

From Measurement Run
to Digital Report

Three simple steps replace a paper-based process that took hours to complete and days to process.

1
🚂

Mount & Drive

The HPM sensor unit is installed on the measurement vehicle. The operator drives the track at normal speed — no special preparation needed.

2
📲

Real-Time Local View

Cable height and offset are displayed live on the onboard HMI. Measurements are auto-tagged to the correct catenary using GPS matching.

3
🖥️

Cloud Back Office

Data syncs to the HPM platform. Review by track, mast, operator or date. Export reports, flag deviations, and track geometry trends over time.

Deployment

Local & Cloud

HPM operates on two complementary levels: a local measurement system for the field, and a cloud platform for management and reporting.

A. Local

On-Vehicle Measurement System

  • LiDAR + radar sensor unit mounted on measurement vehicle
  • Touchscreen HMI displays real-time cable offset and height
  • GPS-based catenary auto-detection from preloaded list
  • Manual measurement backup mode available
  • No paper — all data stored electronically on device
B. Cloud

HPM Back Office Platform

  • Centralised management of tracks and measurement assets
  • Upload and assign measurement files per track & operator
  • Map view with measurement locations plotted on satellite imagery
  • Track geometry trends and flag out-of-tolerance sections
  • Full audit trail: who measured, when, which mast
